Generate MARC Records in Explore

Institutions may require MARC (Machine-Readable Cataloguing) records for the content in their collection(s). An institution can complete the following steps to generate an .mrc file.

  1. Log in to Explore
  2. Click on the Institutions tab, then on Integrations
  3. Click on the MARC Records button. You will see a "Generating Records" message and your file will automatically download.


If your Collection(s) contain(s) more than 1,000 MARC records, the .mrc file will be emailed to you.
