Day One Access Accessibility Report

Purpose

Provides accessibility information associated with each product offered in an CA/TA programme.

Report Notes

  • The access filter will automatically filter the report to show products that are:
    • Owned by the user’s Publisher company ID (for publishers)
    • Adopted by the user’s Institution ID (for institutions).
  • Results are limited to items with adoptions in the last 18 months and have a current or upcoming adoption.
  • Data presence is based on the accessibility metadata provided by the publisher. Where a ‘null’ is present, accessibility metadata has not been sent for that category.

Definition of filters

Filter Name Description Usage Notes
Term Standardised term name, based on term start date (e.g. Autumn-2024, Winter/Spring-2025).

For two-semester reviews, it is recommended to use these combinations:

  • Winter/Spring = Spring
  • Summer/Autumn = Autumn
⚠️ The institution-defined term is not necessarily the same as the standardised term. For example, you may see some schedules’ names that may say ‘Spring’ and appear in the ‘Winter’ or ‘Summer’ term.
Next Term Start Date Term start date according to the school’s set up in Connect Narrow down items to a specific upcoming start date or set a date range
Adopted Item ISBN and rental duration of item adopted in Connect (This is the ‘Billing ISBN’ in the Connect system)

Use to search for a specific item or for many items.

You can easily copy/paste multiple values. This can be completed by copying a column of ISBNs or VBIDs from an Excel-like document or copying ISBNs or VBIDs separated by commas.

🔵 Multi-search can support up to 16,000 values
⚠️ Copying ISBNs or VBIDs separated by semicolons does not work.
Product Format Format of the item (e.g. ePub or PDF) Narrow down results based on accessibility review criteria
Publisher Publisher owner (Manage company) of the product

Narrow down results to a specific publisher company (if applicable).

⚠️ Note, filter is limited to companies that the system user is associated to.
Accessibility Metadata Tier Reflects the completeness and specificity of the accessibility metadata provided for a title
