How to Place the VitalSource Learning Tool in Your Course in Moodle

Follow the steps below to easily add a VitalSource eBook or other content to your course via the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS).

  1. Within a course in Moodle, turn editing on.

  2. In the relevant section of your course, select Add an Activity or Resource.

  3. Search for the name of the LTI tool and click on it. Its name should be something like 'Course Materials', but if you’re unsure, please contact your LMS admin.

  4. Add an Activity name like Course Materials and leave all other settings as they are.

  5. Click Save and Return to Course.
