Find Available Collections and Subscriptions in Explore

With VitalSource Explore, your customers can easily unlock the subscription content they have purchased and make it available to their users. Explore’s intuitive, user-friendly platform provides personalised, on-demand access to a wide selection of content as it’s needed, where it’s needed, and when it’s needed. The platform is integrated in VitalSource Bookshelf®, so users can quickly find and search their collections and start reading, all within the world’s #1 digital content platform.

  1. Users log in to Bookshelf. If institutions already have an integration with Bookshelf (e.g. within a department or library) and have acquired subscription content, their users will be able to access Bookshelf directly via the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) / Learning Management System (LMS) or library platform using their university account credentials.
  2. On the My Library tab, any individual titles already accessed by the user will be viewable. For further information and instructions on using Bookshelf, see here.
  3. To see the collections and subscription content users or their school have access to, click on the Explore tab:
