Explore: KBART

Institutions may require KBART (“Knowledge Bases and Related Tools”) files for the content in their collection(s). An institution can complete the following steps to generate KBART files.

KBART Records in Bulk:

Login to Explore.
From the Institutions page, select an Institution.
Click the Integrations button.

Then click on the KBART Files button. You will see a "Generating Records" message, and your file will automatically download. You’ll still be able to download KBART files if you do not yet have an integration set up.

Individual KBART Files:

Login to Explore.
From the Institutions page, select an Institution.
Search for a specific book or subscription.
Click the Download icon, and then select KBART Files. You will see a "Generating Records" message, and your file will automatically download.

Note: If your Collection(s) contain more than 1,000 records, the KBART file will be emailed to you.
