Explore Transactions in PubComp Reports
VitalSource is excited to introduce PubComp reporting improvements for Explore wholesale transactions that will take effect beginning in April 2024. These enhancements aim to provide transparency into Explore transactions with institutions while enabling publishers to view all billing model transactions in one centralized report.
This update empowers publishers to view all their billing models in one location. Your Pub Comp statements remain a valuable resource for tracking and analyzing your financial interactions.
Seamless Integration:
Beginning with your March 2024 PubComp report, Explore wholesale transactions will be included within your existing PubComp reporting structure, appearing as "Buy/Sell (Wholesale Explore)." This billing model type indicates transactions wherein VitalSource has sold content directly to institutions on publishers' behalf.
PubComp statements will continue to be delivered via email monthly and can also be found by logging into Manage and accessing "Financial Statements."
Easily find Explore transactions in Column E (VST BILLING MODEL), tagged as "Buy/Sell (Wholesale Explore).”
The PubComp statements are emailed monthly and include insights into transaction date, distributor name, SKU, title, pricing, exchange rates, and more.
They can also be found in the Manage UI under “Financial Statements.”
