Year-over-Year Day One Access Trends Dashboard

Purpose

Provides publishers with seasonal guidance on revenue, content types, and opt-out rates as IA/EA licenses are activated and set to invoice during a given term.

Dashboard Notes

  • All revenue reported is estimated based on what we know about the current term as of the date run.
  • This report will default to show the year-over-year data for the current term based on the following ranges:

2Total Seasonal Revenue by Invoice Day of Year - Traditional

Provides a current-prior year snapshot of estimated revenue for Traditional schools for the term based on the date that the term will invoice.

Values for the current year may change for catalogs with an invoice date in the future. Current day of year is noted by a gray vertical line.

3Total Seasonal Revenue by Invoice Day of Year - Combined

Provides a current-prior year snapshot of estimated revenue for both Traditional and Partner schools for the term based on the date that the term will invoice.

Values for the current year may change for catalogs with an invoice date in the future. Current day of year is noted by a gray vertical line.

4Total Seasonal Revenue by Invoice Day of Year - Partner

Provides a current-prior year snapshot of estimated revenue for Partner schools for the term based on the date that the term will invoice.

5Segment Revenue by Invoice MonthBreakdown of estimated revenue by invoice month provides a current-prior year view of Partner and Traditional programs.

Comparative TermDisplays the term for which the data is showing. The data is pivoted by year and all columns following this one will show numbers for the prior term and the upcoming/current term. So, for example, if the term for comparison is Fall then the data is for Fall of the previous year and Fall of the current year.
Content TypeThe content type of the adopted item, either courseware or eTextbook
Estimated RevenueEstimated revenue for the adoptions
Estimated Revenue (% Change)Year-Over-Year percent change in estimated revenue.
Estimated Revenue (Total)Total estimated revenue for adopted items [from the respective publisher(s)]
