My Courses brings everything you need for your classes into one easy-to-access location. Whether you're browsing for print or digital content, opting into your school's affordable access program, or just checking what materials you need — it’s all here.
Why Use My Courses?
My Courses simplifies your academic life by giving you:
- One-click login through your LMS or bookstore
- Immediate access to all adopted course materials
- Day-one availability for items in your school's affordable access program
- A simple shopping experience for everything else
How to Access My Courses
You can access My Courses in two ways:
Option 1: Through your school’s online bookstore
Visit your school’s bookstore website and click the “Sign In” button at the top right. After logging in, select “My Courses” from the main menu to view your personalized materials list.
Option 2: Through your Learning Management System (LMS)
Log in to your LMS (like Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle), navigate to one of your courses, and click the link labeled “Course Materials” (this link name can vary). This link will open My Courses in a new tab. If you don’t see the link, check your course announcements or ask your instructor for guidance.
What You'll See
When My Courses opens, you’ll find a personalized list of all your assigned materials. You'll see titles, authors, item types, and whether materials are required or optional. You’ll also see how many items are available through your school’s affordable access program and how many still need to be purchased.
Accessing Your Content
You can open digital textbooks right from My Courses. For other types of content:
- eBooks: Click Open Book to begin reading.
- Courseware: Click Access Instructions to get your code and access link.
- Publisher Content: Some items may require access through your LMS. Just follow the instructions provided in My Courses.
Shopping for Materials
If you haven’t purchased your course materials yet, My Courses makes it easy. Just choose the format you want (digital or print), add items to your cart, and check out. You can even use the “Add All to Cart” option for a faster experience. After checkout, digital items can be opened right in My Courses.
Affordable Access Program Materials
If your school participates in an affordable access program, some materials may already be provided. A banner will tell you how long you have to opt out if you choose not to participate.
Each item in the program will show:
- The type of content it is
- Instructions on how to access it
- Your opt-in or opt-out status
You can change your selection before the deadline by clicking Opt Out or Opt In directly in My Courses.
