How to Use This Dashboard
Guidance for navigating and getting value from this dashboard.
Set your filters first — The access filter automatically scopes results to products owned by your Publisher company ID (for publishers) or adopted by your Institution ID (for institutions). Results are limited to items with adoptions in the last 18 months with a current or upcoming adoption. Use filters such as VBID, Product Format, Copyright Year, BISAC, or Publisher to narrow further.
Insights Overview — High-level summary of claim coverage and metadata tier distribution across your full portfolio.
Accessibility Details — Full list of assets with their metadata tier and human-readable claims.
Access Program Accessibility Claims — Focused view of assets with sales or upcoming Access Program adoptions.
Explore Accessibility Claims — Focused view of assets within active Explore Subscriptions.
Read the tiles — Summary KPI tiles at the top of each tab give you aggregate counts and percentages; charts below break results down by metadata tier or inventory status.
Drill down for detail — Navigate to the Accessibility Details, Access Program, or Explore tabs for row-level asset data including claims and tier assignments.
💡 Tip: Start on the Insights Overview tab for a high-level picture of your portfolio's accessibility coverage before navigating to the detail tabs. Where a "null" value appears, no accessibility metadata has been provided by the publisher for that category.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does it mean if a field shows "null"?
A: A null value means the publisher has not provided accessibility metadata for that category. It does not necessarily indicate the asset is inaccessible — it means no claim has been submitted.
Q: Why are some assets not appearing on the Access Program Accessibility Claims or Explore Accessibility Claims tabs?
A: Those tabs — and the related Insights Overview tiles that draw from the same data — are limited to assets with adoptions in the last 18 months that have a current or upcoming adoption. Assets outside this window will not appear on those tabs. The Accessibility Details tab provides a broader view of assets regardless of adoption recency.
Q: Are the Accessibility Metadata Tiers visible to institutional users?
A: No. The metadata tiers are intended to help publishers better understand the completeness of their accessibility metadata and are not visible to institutional users.
Q: Do the metadata tiers indicate whether my content is legally accessible or compliant?
A: No. The metadata tiers reflect the completeness and specificity of the accessibility metadata provided — they are not an evaluation of accessibility or a legal compliance determination.
