Add the Course Materials Link to Moodle

With the following steps, the Moodle Administrator will create an external tool placement for Course Materials.

If you had previous courses in First Day, this link should be added as soon as possible, as faculty will require access to setup their courseware for upcoming term. You will need to temporarily name it something different such as “Course Materials 2020” to keep it separate and identifiable from your current “Course Materials” link. The current link should not be removed until spring courses have ended.

If you did not have previous courses in First Day, you can install the new LTI link with the name “Course Materials” as soon as possible.

Please contact ltisupport@bncollege.com for your key and secret.

Remove the Course Materials LTI App

Stop

If you currently have First Day, do not remove this link until your current term courses have fully completed, or students will lose access to their materials.

  5. In the confirmation window, click Delete again.

If you do not see “Course Materials” among the list of tools on the Manage tools page, follow these next steps:

  1. From the Manage tools page, click Manage preconfigured tools.
  2. Among your list of links, look for Course Materials.
  3. Click the X icon to deactivate the tool.
  4. Click the Rejected tab and click the X icon once more to remove the tool from your system.
