Course Access- Term Lifecycle for Faculty Awareness

  1. Adoption with CA Indicated
    Instructors or administrators adopt materials in Collect and indicate interest in Course Access (CA). 
  2. CA Approval or Denial 
    Adoption requests are reviewed, and approval or denial is communicated via email. 
  3. Faculty Welcome Email
    Instructors receive a welcome email with key CA details, timelines, and reminders. 
  4. Content Delivery to Virtual Store and LMS
    Materials are delivered to the Virtual Store and made available in the LMS, with clear visibility of the opt-out option for students. 
  5. Student Welcome Email
    Students receive a welcome email outlining program details, access instructions, and opt-out information. 
  6. Student Opt-Out Reminder
    A reminder email is sent to students ahead of the opt-out deadline. 
  7. Opt-Out Deadline
    The opt-out deadline aligns with the institution’s add/drop date. 
  8. University Invoicing
    An invoice for CA materials is sent to the institution. 
  9. Student Billing
    Charges for opted-in students are applied to their student accounts.
