Use this dashboard to monitor borrowing activity for titles in your subscription. It helps you understand how actively your titles are being borrowed and by how many unique users over time.

How to Use This Dashboard
Set your filters first — Select your institution, narrow to a single title using the Asset VBID filter, and set your desired date range for the most relevant results.
Read the tiles — The All-Time Borrows and All-Time Unique Users tiles give aggregate counts over the active subscription period; the Users with Access by Day heatmap shows daily usage patterns.
Drill down for detail — Use the Selected Date filter to narrow the Explore Borrow Report Details table at the bottom of the page to a specific date or range.
💡 Tip: This is not live data — it should not be used to see how many copies are currently in use or currently available. The Borrow Limit shown may also sometimes look lower than your actual limit: this happens when multiple copies of the same subscription have overlapping active dates, so the report shows only one copy's limit during the overlap. If you notice a discrepancy, check Explore for your current active subscriptions and borrow limits. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why does the Borrow Limit shown here sometimes look lower than my actual limit?
A: This can happen when multiple copies of the same subscription have been purchased with overlapping active dates. During the overlap, the report shows the limit for a single copy rather than the combined total. If you notice a discrepancy, check Explore for your current active subscriptions and borrow limits.
Q: Why do I see more users with access in a day than my borrow limit?
A: Users can have partial-day access. If one user's access ends and another's begins later the same day without overlapping, both are counted as having access that day — even though the borrow limit was never exceeded at any single moment.
Q: Can I use this report to see how many copies are in use or available right now?
A: No. This report does not reflect live data and should not be used to check current usage or availability. Check Explore for real-time subscription status.
