Your Role in Our Shared Partnership
We know your plate is full—and that’s exactly why we’ve built this partnership to be as turnkey as possible. But the truth is, our shared strategy is most effective when both partners are actively engaged.
The VitalSource Institutional B2C Marketing team has done the work to make your job easy. We’ve built the email templates, designed the social graphics, prepared the student-facing copy, and developed the full playbook. The strategy is set. The assets are ready.
What we can’t do is send messages from your institution’s email, post to your social channels, or place links on your student portal. That part falls to you—and it’s the most impactful part. Marketing from both sides, aligned on timing and on the right link for the right message, is what closes the gap between students and their course materials.
One thing our team hears consistently across accounts: schools that communicate early and often—both about where to find materials and how their access program works—have fewer support cases, lower unnecessary opt-out rates, and better student satisfaction at the start of term. That outcome is in reach for every institution, and we’re here to help you get there.
