Single schedule not being applied to new groups
What’s changed?
We fixed a bug that was preventing schedules from being applied to new groups added during item creation. From now on, if there is a single schedule for a catalog, all new groups will inherit that single schedule regardless of how the group is created.

Support for multiple SFTP enrollment ingestion per day
What’s changed?
The Verba team recently released an update to the automated SFTP Enrollment Ingestion for Connect. We’re now providing support for schools that want to send enrollment files more than once a day. Ingestion will now kick off once an hour at the half-hour mark. (Note: Timing of catalog/adoption imports has not changed.)
What do I need to do?
The Verba Product team recommends a maximum of 4 files a day, spaced out about 6 hours apart to ensure enrollment dependent processes have time to finish between imports. You can choose the timing of your files to align with your own time zone, hours of operation, and any of their existing automated processes, however it’s highly recommend that you retain your existing file placement timing of prior to 2:30am Pacific to ensure maximum enrollment coverage based on RMS catalog/adoption ingestion timing.

New default schedule and default schedule date behavior
What’s changed?
We have eliminated the concept of a “default” schedule that automatically gets created with new catalogs. We also got rid of the concept of arbitrary default schedule dates. From here on out users will need to manually create ALL schedules they need for a catalog and enter the necessary dates instead of making changes to the defaults. This will allow for much better processes around catalog setup tasks because the schedule dates will be meaningful vs. arbitrary.

What’s changed?
The “Email Matches to Me” report (found on the Explore & Create page) now includes a column for “requirement status.” This data is tied to the adoption information received from the RMS and will help users weed out non-required course materials when using the report to identify good candidates for their IA or EA program.

Course Dash: Added option to hide search box
What’s changed?
We’ve added a setting for our instructor deeplink tool to hide the search bar. This is intended for IA schools who do not want instructors to be able to add content adoptions through the deeplinking tool. When search is disabled, instructors are restricted to adding deeplinks only for content that’s already been adopted to their course.
