Student Charges by Section Report

Purpose

Provides student charges reported at the section level for Course Access programs. This report is used to supplement the Charge File that is delivered from Connect.

Report Notes

  • Data is limited to sections whose invoice date is in the future only

Definition of filters

Term Start DateTerm start date according to the school’s set up in ConnectUse to filter to a specific term start date

Adopted ItemUnique identifier for the item adopted
Item NameName of the item associated to the adopted ISBN
Student PricePrice of the adopted item to the student (without Tax)
DepartmentIdentifier for the department
CourseIdentifier for the course
Section IDIdentifier for the section
Course Identifier (Institution)Unique identifier for the course supplied by the institution (may also be known as Course Reference Number (CRN)).
Schedule NameName of the schedule that the student is enrolled in
Term Start DateTerm start date according to the school’s set up in Connect
Term End DateTerm end date according to the school’s set up in Connect
Opt-In/Opt-Out DateDate which an Institution’s opt-in/opt-out decisions must be completed
Invoice DateDate the schedule is invoiced
Created DateDate the section was created (in Connect)
Last Updated DateDate the item was last updated in Connect
InstitutionName of the institution (Manage Company Name)
Term (Normalized)

Standardized term name, based on term start date:

  • Fall (Aug - December)
  • Winter/Spring (January - April)
  • Summer (May- July)
📄  Normalized term names bring parity to institutions, reseller partners, and content providers when conversing. The inclusion of this field is to help facilitate easier conversation and create a bridge between institutional catalog and schedule structure and reseller/content provider planning, preparations, and support.
