Paying by Purchase Order on the Virtual Store

📝 Note: Purchase orders will be available as a payment method starting July 1, 2026.

ⓘ If you do not have an account established to pay by Purchase Order, you will need to complete the account setup process. 
This process can be started at any time to speed up the fulfillment time. 
Start this process before it is time to place your order by completing this form. 
Choosing to set up your account at the time of ordering will add processing time and extend fulfillment time by 3-5 business days.

Bulk Order Timeline
Digital Items - Processing: 2 business days. Fulfillment: 7 business days
Physical Items - Processing: 2 business days. Fulfillment: 1-5 weeks

 

Follow the instructions below to pay by Purchase Order:

  1. On the checkout page, you’ll choose the option "Request a Purchase Order".

  1. You will be taken to complete the form below.

  1. Fill out the purchase order request and press "Complete Purchase Order". Your request will show as completed.

  1. You will receive a confirmation page and a confirmation email that says, "A VitalSource representative will follow up regarding this request within 2 business days."

  1. Within 2 business days, we will follow up to confirm your order is processing.
    If you have not already completed the set-up process, you will be asked to fill out this form.

    *Note: Separate invoices will be sent for physical and digital items.
