LTI 1.3 Partner Integration Featureset:

  • Single Sign-on (SSO) provides a frictionless delivery & access experience for students via VitalSource Launch.
  • Deeplink proxying enables direct access to specific assignments and locations within your platform via the VitalSource LTI tool.
  • Assignments & Grades Proxy Service replaces the Basic Outcomes service from previous LTI versions and removes the strict one-to-one relationship between a resource
  • link and a line item.

Faculty Sign Up Process:

  • In order to use this courseware, you’ll need to sign up for an instructor account. You can sign up for an account by navigating to Wiley’s instructor site here.

Course Creation Process:

  • Create a Course: You will need to start by creating a course directly within the courseware. For specific guidance on this process, please navigate to Wiley’s support site here.

Course Copy Process:

  • If you are a returning instructor, and would like to copy your course from last term, please navigate to Wiley’s site here for more guidance.

Launch Courseware:

  • Once your course is created in WileyPlus, you’ll need to connect it through the VitalSource tool. When you click the “Launch Courseware” button from the VitalSource tool, you’ll be asked to sign into your WileyPlus account. This is a one time action. Next, you’ll need to enter the course code associated with your WileyPlus course.

Creating Deep Links:

  • VST Tool: To create deeplinks within your course to specific locations within the courseware, you can use the VitalSource LTI deep linking tool which your LMS admin has installed. More guidance on this process can be found on our Implement the Deeplinking Tool in the LMS for Courseware Integrations page. You may need to discuss this tool’s location within your LMS with your administrator.
